1. Information We Collect

We collect the following:

• Account data: your name, email address, and phone number provided when you create a Seeker or Mentor account.
• Mentor profile data: designation, company, industry and role, years of experience, bio, credentials, LinkedIn URL, session rate, availability, and the payout (e.g. UPI) details you provide to receive earnings.
• Seeker profile data: education level, year of study, and college, where you choose to provide them.
• Booking data: the sessions you request or accept, the topic/agenda you share, scheduled times, and session status.
• Payment data: handled by Razorpay. We receive only confirmation and order references, never your full card or banking credentials.
• Usage & technical data: basic logs, device information, and (if you opt in) a push-notification subscription.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate the Platform: create accounts, list verified Mentors, and manage bookings.
• To process payments through Razorpay and to release Mentor payouts.
• To schedule sessions and generate a Google Meet link for each confirmed booking via Google Calendar.
• To send transactional updates by email and, if you opt in, web push notifications.
• To review Mentor profiles and credentials, respond to support requests, and prevent abuse.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: (a) the Mentor or Seeker you transact with, to the extent needed to run your session (for example, your name and the session details); (b) our payment processor Razorpay to complete transactions and payouts; (c) Google, to create the calendar event and Google Meet link for your session; (d) infrastructure providers (such as hosting, database, and email delivery) that operate the Platform on our behalf; and (e) authorities where required by law.

4. Google Calendar & Meet

When a booking is confirmed, we use Google’s APIs to create a calendar event and a Google Meet video link for the session. We use this access solely to schedule and manage your sessions and do not use Google user data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

5. Data Retention & Security

We retain account, booking, and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission over the internet is fully secure.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Note that we may retain certain records (such as payment ledgers) where required by law.

7. Cookies

We use an essential session cookie to keep you signed in and to operate core features, and basic analytics to understand how the Platform is used. We do not use cookies to sell your data to third parties.

8. Children

Mentor accounts are for adults (18+). A Seeker who is a minor should use the Platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the information provided.
